In this 1.5 day interactive countertop workshop each student will learn the cutting edge technology of the Granicrete™ and AuraStone™ finishing systems. This workshop is like nothing you’ve ever experienced, finally there is an answer for the decorative artist and/or concrete artisan who has been waiting for quality countertop overlay systems. You will learn, in detail, proper substrate and surface preparation and the application of the Granicrete™ and AuraStone™ overlay systems. These uniquely engineered modified Portland cement products go directly over any substrate you could imagine, without the need of an expensive basecoat, making these processes both cost effective and efficient. Although this class is designed for the professional installer, creative Do-It-Yourselfers are welcome. The cost of the class and products for your project are less expensive than your alternatives and you have the joy of creating your own unique finishes. This class includes a comprehensive reference manual, video presentations and hands-on training to learn these award winning countertop systems suitable for interior and exterior applications. Each student will produce three gorgeous countertop finishes on 12"x 16" MDF samples that are designed to replicate a countertop surface.
